I think SashaCleo are loving the carpet. Good traction, all the better to use to launch oneself.

Princess of the sofa
Cleo thought she'd perch on top of the sofa cushion in order to take her evening nap.

Persistent pug
One of Cleo's favorite toys is the flashing light rubber ball. This single-minded animal is capable of an inordinately long memory when it comes to the location of the ball. Once spotted, she can be counted upon to be parked next to it, gazing longingly...
... despite our best efforts to hide it, she finds it again.
After quite a bit of whining, she gives up. Oh, Cleo, won't anyone play with the pug?

Moving Day
We moved to our apartment this past weekend -- the temporary apartment which is larger than our house, has sweeping views of the bay and Marin, and actually has a working sink disposal! We were trying to keep the pugs out from underfoot, so we kept them in the bathroom. They were not happy.
After the movers left, we let them out. Sashacleo were so delighted to be on carpet again, they were bouncing up and down. All that woebieness followed by unadulterated joy was exhausting for the puglets.

Helpful pugs
Dave has been doing a lot of work from home in the evenings. The pugs decided to lend their assistance.

Hide and seek
Sasha was feeling a little playful. She decided to play a little game of Find The Pug. I'm not sure who she thought she was hiding from... Cleo?
She says -- you found me!

Demolition has begun!
We have officially begun Renovation. Altho mostly it looks like the house is being taken apart in large chunks.
They've dug a moat around the house, presumably to put in drainage. The pugs make sure they complete a thorough investigation.

A pug is a pug is a pug
Bunni shares a lot of the same mannerisms as SashaCleo. She does like to maul the toys, just like Cleo.
She can get super harumph if bewildered, like Sasha.
She likes to glam it up, like any girlie girl.
And, finally, she luuuuuvs what pugs do best.... sleep.

Watchpugs
The afternoons have been so pleasant, that I've been leaving the front door open for cross ventilation. The pugs like that. It allows them to keep careful vigil in the foyer, and alert me noisily to possible intruders.

The reclining princess
We had left the airbed on the floor for the night, leftover from the pugs' weekend with their pug sitter. Cleo helped herself.
She prefers the pillowtop.

Svelte Sasha
There have been wild falsehoods circulated by unnamed malicious sources about Sasha's weight. The Lie = 'Sasha is fat'. Horror! The indignity! To document the truth, once and for all, I offer...
Skinny Sasha from the side
Slender Sasha from the top
Skin and Bones Sasha on whom I cannot even pinch an inch!

Summer dog dayz
Hot days and nights mean less utility for fur coats.
The princesses have been trying to rid themselves of as much fur as possible. It just flies off of their bodies and onto our clothes, into our food... I took advice from Bunni's mama and bought myself a Shedding Blade = Miracle of Miracles. Do you see how much fur I get from one go around? at least enough for a pug ear muff.

Private Pug
We were away for the long weekend, and I missed my darling puglets terribly. Rude resort wouldn't let us bring our babies. So I made up for a long weekend's absence with lots of kisses and shnuggles when we got back. Sasha was ok with it for the first, oh, TWO SECONDS, and then she retreated to the safety of husband's chair.
Her eyes say -- save me from the crazy lady. please.
