Another sunny spot

The ever resourceful Cleopatra has found a new fave spot.

In this corner, she has 2 windows that give her an excellent vantage point from which to monitor her surroundings. It's also quite sunny, excellent for heating up pug fur. Finally, there are loads of fluffy pillows on which to rest.

Spoiled pugs.

Two pugs in a pod

While Cleo is the kind of pug wear her heart on her sleeve (or hang it on her tooth), Sasha is a little more reserved with her affection. That's why moments where she not only tolerates, but doles out, affection are so precious.

Hot dogs

We had a brief period of hot hot days, where it was all a puglet could do but to just lie on her side, and continue breathing.

Cleeeeeeeo

Her preferred spot is the highest point of my body she can climb. Little tree monkey.

Friends Forever

I do believe that Cleo has taken a liking to our Bunni. They play together.

They snuggle together... well, in the same vicinity.

Lots of auntie snuggles

Auntie Mina wasted no time in exuberantly shnergling the Sasha.

I had to retaliate by trying to suffocate Bunni. Wait, no, that's the Bunnunu on MY carotid.

Covered with pug

Each pug has her fave spot. I really don't know what could be better than to have a puglet snuggled into each curve.

Part of the pug pack

Bunni immediately settled in, completely comfortable with all aspects of life to which Sashacleo have become accustomed.

My, what a tasty loofah toy you have.

My, what a comfy bed this is.

And, my, what a pleasant scenic perch!

The pugs' fave activity

What do the pugs love to do more than anything in the world?? A hint? First, Cleo.

Then, Sasha.

I think Bunni totally gives it away.

Yup. Begging.

Pooped pugs

After a long weekend of begging, napping, snuggling, snorting, eating, and begging some more, the pugletinis are just exhausted. It is HARD WORK being a pug. I do not know how it is that they muddle thru their incredibly difficult lives.

Cleo's heavy head

Perhaps because Cleopatra's noggin is more bone than grey matter... but she seems to be unable to keep it lifted for long periods of time. She likes to rest it on any available spot.

Comfy, or not.

Or on no spot at all, just dangling off of her neck.

Dinnertime!

The Big Pieces of Food came out for a too-short visit. The puglets were just beside themselves, delirious with joy at the prospect of a long weekend of continuous treats. Lots of napping, too. Snugglage was to be had in abundance.

Foiled!

Cleo has found Sasha's hiding spot. It IS a good spot.

Strike a pose

Our floppy, boneless Cleo has an infinite number of ways to rearrange her body. She does have a few favorites, tho. This is Cleo lounging, uninvited, on the newly stripped bed in the guest bedroom.

This is Cleo relaxing and cooling off on the garage floor after a long walk.

Strikingly similar.
