Tubtime

During one of our stays in Tahoe, Cleo was so excited to be in a new room, with all its delicious and invigorating smells. She was so excited, that she took a flying leap onto what she thought was the bed. It was not. It was the tub.

Rough night

Cleo has been very active at night lately, trampling both her mama and dada in a repeated nightly effort to find the best possible sleeping spot. After having been banished to the study for a couple of nights, we relented and allowed her to sleep with us again. Mistake. While sleeping on my back, I woke up, due to a solid blow to the solar plexus from our little Clee. I rolled over to create tummy nook for the sleep-boxing pug. Not big enough of a nook. She crawled in, but only after punching and headbutting me in the stomach repeatedly, to create a larger, more comfortable spot.

This morning I think she feels guilty.

Sasha, I think, is just exhausted.

Cleo's hideaway

Cleopatra found a good hiding spot. On my clothes. On the bottom shelf of our stack-o-shelves.

Playtime

We went to Tahoe for the last time this season, this past weekend.

Unfortunately, we couldn't bring the pugs -- horrible, non-dog-friendly place. So auntie Vananh came to play! The puglets were delighted to have one of their fave snugglers back.

Errand-running pugs

The girls offered moral support while changing the wagon's oil the other day. The staff at Jiffylube was just Tickled with a capital 'T' to be the recipients of all that pug snot.

Sleepy pugs

We went skiing again in Tahoe this past weekend. The pugs, again, did nothing all day but hang out. And yet, again, they were EXHAUSTED at the end of the day.
