Sunny pug misses Cleo and her Mommy

Poor Sasha, left behind with her Daddy. She is making the best of it.

Cleopatra

Cleo is feeling a little decadent.

She needs a plush pillow to support her every appendage.

Another embarrassing shot

Again, can it really be helped? Cleo just lends herself to the ridiculous.

Comfy sunny spot

There is really nothing better than a cushy, pillow strewn perch from which a puglet can survey her domain.

Don't let Cleo's seeming indifference fool you. She is Alert, and just waiting to sound the General Alarm.
Sasha, all sphinx-like, is already halfway into attack position.

A little embarrassing, but, oh well

I can't help it. Cleo looks just so ridiculous, sitting at the desk like a little monkey-pug-person.

First ferry ride

We brought the puglets to Bainbridge Island, on ferry. Their first boat trip together!

Initially it was all fun and games.

Then the fog horn blew, which scared the bejimmies out of Sasha, and the wind started up... good thing Sasha had her dada's jacket under which to retreat.

Weekend indulgence

The food and drink sights and smells of Seattle were yummy. Delicious restaurants, and wine bars speckled all over the city.

The pugs were particularly pleased with the abundance of bubbly. As we all know, Sasha is a great champion of the stuff.

Bunni was also partaking. What little her mama would spare.

Ultimately, though, their fave refreshment was found at one of the many water dishes placed out by dog-friendly shops.

Traveling in style

The pugs were super well-behaved on our flight to and from Seattle.

So much so, that surely they deserved a place of comfort on which to rest their travel-weary heads.

this spot is better, mama.

Although when it comes to luxury in travel, nothing really tops being hand carted around by a doting uncle.

Seattle

We took the pugletinis to Seattle for the 4th weekend. We've never been, and heard it was a great, dog-friendly city. Which it was.

We met up with Bunni and her parents, for a weekend long pug extravaganza!

There was a lot of group begging to be had. In various combos of begging pugs. Apparently, when together, the parents are quite reckless with the treats.

Excited pug

Over the years, my toothless, arthritic puglet has lost all interest in all of her toys except one -- the ball toy. The thing is made of this sticky soft rubber, and flashes lights when it bounces. Nothing gets Sasha all revved up more than the mention of her ball toy.
