The pugs were whirlwind travelers this past week. First, to Boston to hang out with cousin Bug.
Then, to Vienna, to shmooze with cousin Bunni.
Finally, back to SF -- in the same carriers. The pugs got le stinky.

House inspection
The house needed an inspection before the sheetrock could go up. The pugz wasted no time in climbing onto the sheetrock for a closer inspection. They are pugs. They take their jobs Seriously.
except when there're more interesting things afoot. Sasha got all distracted by Cleo's bum.

Bunni is no Einstein
She sees the Nylabone. She wants the Nylabone. She can almost taste the Nylabone.
She no longer can see the Nylabone. She is starting to lose interest.
She luvs the Nylabone.

Apres ski pug
Sasha tuckered herself out, tearing thru fields of snow.
Look at her. Very vulnerable to shnerkle attack.

First snow of the year!
The puglets got to romp around in their first snow of the winter, while we were skiing this past weekend. Actually, it was more like Sasha who was frolicking, jumping, tumbling in the snow like it was a big fluffy field of manna. Cleo was a little more cautious.
She would park herself in the least snowy spots in the park. and would refuse to budge.
She would then put on her 'i'm patetique' face and start to shiver violently. look at that miserable pug.

WHOdunnit???
We took the dogs to Tahoe this past weekend, and left them in the hotel room with Xmas music blaring while we were on the slopes. I was foolishly worried about their barking. What I should have been worried about apparently, was -- escaped pugs running amok in the hotel room, leaping from bed to sofa to floor, lounging on down-stuffed shams, and.... foraging for food.
How did this happen? Which one of you pugs did this?
The girls refuse to talk. Cleo's digestive system, however, could tell no lies. Let's just say it was an active night for the greedy pug.

Spa Bunni
Bunni's mama is very careful to keep the Bunster clean and not nasty filthy dirty after rambling on Manhattan sidewalks. Such frequent bathing deserves a cute -- pink -- robe.
give us a treat, dammit.

A new toy!
The puglets got new toys, courtesy of their auntie Vananh. cute little snowman toys!! with ingenious arms made out of sturdy rope, all the better to play tug of war with.
Cleo took to the new toy immediately. I had to stop throwing it for her to fetch after my rotator cuff tore. She settled for carrying it around the apartment with her.
I think she likes it.
I mean, I think she REALLY luuuuuuuvs it.

Sunday football
The Patriots weren't broadcasted locally because of the 49ers game. So Dave had to settle for watching the 49ers, and keeping track of the Patriots on the internet. Better than going to a sports bar -- he had 2 pugs to keep him company.
Sasha was helping.
Cleo not so much.

Happy birthday, Bunni!
Bunni, following the way of her cousin diva puglets, is also quite particular about her resting spots. Does she like...Engaging in higher learning?
Spooning with the daddy?
Smothering the mama?
No, nono. Sitting on the wee wee pad.
Note: immediately adjacent to plush, pink, posh bed.

The best comfy pug spot ever
The pugs like to sleep on soft things. The higher the vantage point, the better. So at any given time, we can find a pug... on our bed, on the sofa, perched on the back cushion of the sofa, on top of laundry.... This time, they have outdone themselves -- they climbed onto a pile of (clean, freshly laundered and folded) bedding, and rested their heavy heads on Dave's shoulders.
Almost too much weight for one person to bear.
No, never too much to bear for our little sweetlets.

Cheer up, little Pea
Clee-pea was feeling a little down.
Sasha was concerned. She came over to investigate...
... and give a cheer-up kiss. an unusually affectionate gesture for the usually reserved pug.

Bunni's Thanksgiving
Apparently Bunni had a good Thanksgiving, as well. She got to frolic in the snow.
Was anyone watching this pug? What's with the snow on the head and the grass in the mouth?

Sasha's new spot
Sasha has found a brand new sleeping spot. She does not prefer the lap, sam I am. She much would rather be BEHIND the daddy on the chair.
In a safe and comfortable spot.
With just enough breathing room for one puglet.
