New bed

I was at Costco earlier this week, and I couldn't resist buying a new, plush, clean bed for the pugilinis. It was a bah-gahn -- 15 dolla! I wasn't sure what the pugs' reaction would be. Would they like it? reject it outright? perhaps prefer their other, much more expensive, fancy bed? I shouldn't have been worried. The puglets knew exactly what to do with the new ball of plush.

Cleo was particularly pleased.

Sasha's innermost thoughts

Most of the time Sasha looks like this -- all sleepy, flat head with droopy eyes.



What we're not privy to are the secret desires bouncing around behind those bedroom eyes. A trick of the light reveals to the camera what's running thru that little pug mind.



Apparently that would be the fires of hell... look carefully and you can just make out Cleo amidst the flames.

Skiing in Tahoe

We brought the pugletinis with us this past weekend, to ski in Tahoe. Sasha had a glorious time, frolicking thru and eating the snow. That and sleeping the day away in a new place was pretty exhausting. At the end of the day, she would just collapse in a sleepy heap on her daddy's chest.

Inspector Cleo

I took the puglets to the house the other day. Sort of a slow re-introduction. They immediately took this first reunion opportunity to evacuate on the front lawn. And inspect the newly tiled bathroom floor.

Yipes! no pugs allowed! apparently the area was all marked off so that no one would disturb the fresh tiles. Curious pugs were not accounted for, I guess.

Pugs on errands

The girls accompanied me on my errands this afternoon. They do luv to cuddle in the car. They prefer my lap, but their second fave place is the passenger side seat. Sashacleo.

The pugs took a quick break from their whirlwind weekend to sneak in a quick sleepy snuggle.

Auntie Mina!

Mina came to visit the pugs this past weekend. The pugs were very excited to see their auntie. Cleo got in lots of snuggling.

Little Cleo was quite attached to her, like a treefrog.
